Do you take insurance?

I am an out of network provider for all insurance carriers, meaning that I do not file with insurance companies.

You may choose to submit claims to your PPO or HMO for potential reimbursement through your out-of-network benefits (if applicable) for all or a portion of my fees. Upon request, I can provide a Statement for Insurance Reimbursement, which may facilitate you in applying for gap coverage or filing claims towards your out-of-network deductible. Additionally, if you have a Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), or other medical savings account, you may also be able to use these funds to cover therapy services.

If clients plan on utilizing insurance, the client is responsible for checking their out of network benefits prior to pursuing treatment.

I will expect full payment at time of service; however, I am willing to discuss any financial concerns you may have.

What are your rates?

My fees for services are as folllows:

Initial Intake Session Fee:

$155/ 60 minutes

Subsequent Session Fees for Individual Therapy:

$135/ 50 minutes

Subsequent Session Fees for Family Therapy:

$145/ 50 minutes

There are no additional fees for ESA letters, referrals to other healthcare providers, or letters for gender-affirming treatments.

What are accepted forms of payment?

Cash, check, and Square card payments are accepted.

Payments may be made electronically using a credit card (HSA/FSA eligible). I use Square to process payments. Square meets the high standards of HIPAA and the banking industry for security and privacy with regard to financial transactions.

What is your cancellation policy?

A 24-hour notice is required for cancellations or to reschedule. The client is responsible for all charges associated with the visit. If a client cancels or reschedules with less than 24 hours notice, the credit card on file will be charged a late cancellation fee in the full amount of the scheduled appointment.

If Sarah Todd must cancel an appointment for any reason, no charges to the client will apply. Todd Counseling, LLC reserves the right to cancel appointments for any reason without notice.
